This clothespin bag is my most recent sewing project. It has three of the old clothespins in the pocket and a coffee stained sock on the front. I thought it would look cute in a laundry room.
This is a shelf in my office/sewing room. I love all of the prim collectibles on the shelf. There are old shoes, old pictures, an old school slate, McGuffy readers, a little prim dress and candles.
I went grocery shopping today and of course, I always find time to stop off at some of my favorite shops. I was delighted today when I found these old child's shoes with the buttons on the side. I immediately fell in love with them and brought them home and put them on my shelf (picture above).
I also found these old salt and pepper shakers in the same shop. They look great sitting in my Hoosier Cupboard.
I showed the shop owner pictures of three of my prim dolls that I made and she wants me to bring in some to sell in her shop. That was exciting!
LOVE your shelf and all its goodies, Frieda....But I ADORE those little shoes!!! I haven't met too many pairs that I can resist bringing home with me....but they're getting so dang pricey around here!! That pair is especially sweet! Enjoy! And congrats on the hook-up for your dolls!! Awesome! Have a wonderful day! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteHi Frieda, Love the shelf in your sewing room, I collect the little shoes also, think I am on 9 pairs now, getting harder to find, and more costly also, but still can't pass up a pair of them. Clothspin bag really cute. Vicky
ReplyDeleteI'm with the girls--decent baby shoes are hard to find and very pricey! I have one pair of high buttons, along with 6 pair of 50's walkers. I try to find old baby shoes to make pin keeps out of.
ReplyDeleteLove your clothespin bag....
