Bonnets and Prim Clothes

These wonderful Prim bonnets were handmade by my new friend at Farmhouse Prims in Virginia.  She has applied her sewing skills to the superior Victorian Heart fabrics.  Visit her blog at: http://www.farmhouseprims.blogspot.com/

This little primitive dress with the grungy patch reminds me of a school dress.  I have it pictured here with a genuine antique school slate and Third Grade Reader.  The slate is close to 100 yrs old and opens up to reveal a second slate.  The Reader is circa 1901.  Both are available at Persnickety Primitives.

This little dress most likely dressed a lovely little infant.  It is old.

This little "fancy" dress may have been worn to a special occasion by a special little girl.  It is old while the little purse bag with "Sarah 1849" stitched on a patch on the front is made of new material yet grunged to look old.

This is a little prim slip and stockings grunged to look old.

Perfect for your Patriotic displays, this little dress boasting stars and stripes is grunged to look old.  It looks great with other red, white and blue decor.

I just love primitive clothes and bonnets!  They really take your primitive decorating to the next level.  These clothes look great hung on a peg rack in a hallway, a bedroom, primitive kitchen or a mud room.  All items pictured are available at Persnickety Primitives.  Stop in and I will be glad to discuss ideas and tips to decorate your home in true Primitive style.  Thanks for visiting my blog!
