I Love Old Shoes

I love old shoes.  It's fun to imagine who may have worn them.  If these old shoes could talk, it would be amazing what stories they could tell and where they have been.  Looking at the soles of the shoes shoes wear from a lot of walking.

My favorite shoes are the ones with the buttons up the sides rather than the laces, but they seem harder to find, at least in my experience.  So, as you may have guessed, these are my favorite ones.

These shoes are brown and I love the color of them.

These shoes have the old patina that shoes that they were well worn.

This collection hangs in my bedroom.  I found the old hanger at a shop that I love.  The shawl is one of two that I have in this style.  It has a faux fur collar.

As you can see, I have several shoes in my collection.  I have most of them in my Victorian guest room.  Most of my decor is in the Primitive style, but I have reserved one room in the Victorian style.  I have several pairs of vintage children's shoes as well that I will share soon.
